Syone @ Zabbix Online MeetUp

On 19 February 2026, Zabbix held an online meetup dedicated to IT infrastructure monitoring, bringing together professionals from the fields of technology, DevOps, and systems administration.

Syone took centre stage with the participation of Vítor Carvalho, invited by Zabbix as a speaker to present the case of the municipality of Odemira and share the project with everyone attending the session.

During the meetup, it was demonstrated how Odemira modernised its public services through a Zabbix-based monitoring platform, integrating features such as automatic asset discovery, agent-based and SNMP monitoring, real-time alerts and data analysis.

This approach has enabled more proactive management of operations, resulting in reduced incident resolution times, greater service stability and increased team efficiency.

The Odemira case highlights the impact of technology on the transformation of the public sector, positioning itself as a benchmark at national level.
