Syone closes 2017 with a total revenue above 7 million euros, surpassing the growth of the past 4 years


Syone consolidates its position in the market and grows two digits by the fourth time in a row, having grown 16,86% in 2016, 15,07% in 2015 and 15,56% in 2014. With a growth of 18,92%, in 2017, the Portuguese Tec company surpasses the growth of the past 4 years, closing the year with a total revenue above 7 million euros (7,347 million € of Sales Turnover), a number that also exceeds the objective set for 2017, that was of 6,75 million euros.

This growth was leveraged by the increase of the Syone’s activity and sales at an international level, that represents more than 57% of the company’s revenue. This growth was naturally followed by an increase of 7,4% in the workforce, employing more than 130 people, by the end of the year.

According to Eduardo Taborda, Syone’s Managing Director “the continuous growth highlights the importance of Syone in its sector and confirms the strategic path that we’ve been following. These results allow us to substantiate the growth predicted for 2018 and assure the continuous investment in innovation.”

The year of 2017 was also marked by the launch of themed Webinars, following the company’s own digital transformation. Beyond the continuous initiatives with its clients and partners, and the presence in international events, Syone launched this new communication channel that approaches several topics with presentations and demos of technological and functional solutions.

Besides the investment in internationalization, the company also allocated its efforts to the national clients, reinforcing the northern part of the country, at a commercial and technical level, with TAM (Technical Account Management) services and 24/7 support.

With the end of the first quarter of 2018 and growing 24,64%, the forecast for this year stays positive and in line with the objectives for 2018. The company maintains the strong investment in internationalization and new strategic partnerships. Syone also intends to increase its portfolio by seeking new areas of expertise and working on innovative solutions based on leading technologies.
