Syone, a leading Open Source solutions and services company in Portugal, achieved a revenue of 12 million Euros in 2022, driven by a major business transformation. Eduardo Taborda, CEO of Syone, states that "The year 2022 closed a cycle of structural changes at Syone in which the primary focus was on gaining efficiency, and that objective was achieved. Our focus on innovation and transformation allowed us to redefine and restructure our business units, making us even more competitive in the market. The opening of new international clients confirmed the strategy followed with the start of operations in Belgium and contributed to the productivity gains achieved. The results achieved were only possible thanks to the high level of commitment and dedication of our teams and the clients who trust us, some for over 20 years."
The results of 2022 demonstrate Syone's effectiveness in its constant evolution, always aligned with the needs of its clients, resulting in an 11.3% increase in efficiency in productivity per employee while maintaining the commitment to quality and excellence with clients.
For João Gomes, Director of Human Resources at Syone, the evolution of 2022 is largely due to investment in people and talent: "We are naturally pleased with the results achieved and believe that investing in our employees is fundamental to our success. We carried out more than 3,500 hours of training and a total of 150 trainings. We constantly seek highly skilled and motivated professionals, and we expect to hire more than 100 new IT professionals in 2023, with 30 already hired in the first quarter of the year."
Syone is preparing for 2023 with many new developments and challenges, with the expectation of presenting more innovative solutions and services, continuing its trajectory of success. The company remains true to its mission of being a reference in information technology based on Open Source, always offering the best solutions for its clients and growth opportunities for its employees.
